A well know wildlife heritage in Chandrapur, Maharashtra is the most famous Tadoba Andhari Tiger Reserve wildlife Sanctuary. 

How Tadoba was named to the National Park?
The 'Tadoba' (taru) refers to god worshipped by tribal people living in the forest. Historically gond king had once ruled these forest and hunting was made completely banned in 1935.
It was created in 1986 and in the year 1995 was known a Wildlife Sanctuary.

TADOBA is enrich with wide flora and fauna. Nowadays the most famous Black Panther was found near lake. It was the first time when black Panther was found in these forest. Maya and Madhuri were the two tigress who was seen by the most visitors.
